I do not know where this will get me, neither if I really know what I want to write about it.

The title in itself (Raceplay) can be seen as problematic as has been shown many times on the internet.

My definition of it would be simply put : Actively including race in the sexual fantasies or making race an integral part of a sexual fantasy or encounter.

As you can guess this is a controversial topic. 

For those of you who don't know. The suffix "play" is massively used in the BDSM community to describe people's kinky activities. For example roleplay for people who like to dress up in caracters, ageplay for people who like playing ages that are not theirs and so on and so on.

What baffles me with raceplay is that it is seen as controversial, deviant or crazy only when certain configurations are in display.

Certain power dynamics are much more tolerated and seen as acceptable than others.

To be able to explain exactly what I mean I will have to be explicit. I don't do it to hurt or be edgy but just because there are so many things in this life we can beat other than around the bush ;-). I will also try to bring as many examples as possible and try to not be cryptic about my explanations. Those examples will be classical porn scenario's. First of all because they are very easy to find and also because it makes it all the more understandable if between those scenario's you recognize one or more or maybe even notice that you have enjoyed some of them. 

I also want you, the reader to keep in mind that I am not a US citizen. I do not come from the United states of America and as such will have references that albeit resembling American situations will not be American.

They also fuck him and regularly ask if he likes arab cock while only using slang terms to describe themselves rebeu, beur etc. They sometimes refer to him as Babtou which is a racial slur for white dude.

Ex3 : A white boss calls his japanese secretary to come in his office for whatever reason... and she ends up extatic at the sight of his big cock and can't stop exclamating about it and squeequing.

I think you get the idea. 

These are all scenes we can come across and are without a doubt Raceplay. Not because the actors involved are of different ethnicities as that is certainly not enough to make something raceplay but because the different ethnicities are essential to the plot and/or are constantly reminded to the viewer.

Now let's move to the mother of all raceplay epithets, an acronym so famous it can even be thrown out in casual and/or professional settings, as a joke of course but still... If a racially charged term that originated in porn can jokingly be referred to in the mainstream... I am talking about the BBC, the big black cock.

BBC has even become a synecdoche for black men. Some people refer to us as BBC's. On dating apps guys will write "Looking for a BBC", or say I dated a BBC.

Let's keep this in mind. Again I am not here to say that it is right or wrong. Sex has so much taboo around it and people try to live their lives as they can and sometimes that goes with using terms that make formulating certain desires much easier.

BBC has it's own websites or categories on general websites. It is thoroughly accepted as a genuine term to describe a type of porn. With ebony, black, thug, thot and much more terms being closely associated to it.
